Mark Twain’s simple quote “The secret of getting ahead is getting started” can be associated best with the saying “Success doesn’t come looking for you, you need to take the steps to reach it.” Yes, you may be well aware of your dreams and aspirations, but the underlying questions are “Do you know HOW to get to the top? Do you know HOW to get to where you want to go?”

The Network Marketing Industry today is running in a fast-paced world where time and opportunities wait for no one. If you are serious about getting ahead in the business, you might want to try these simple yet effective steps!

A piece of paper and a pen can be your best tools. By jotting down the ultimate things that you want to achieve in your business in a piece of paper, you are actually getting started in your quest for success. After listing them down, the next thing you must do is to put that list where you can always see it so you’ll be reminded every single day.

Now that you have your list, think of ways on how to turn those dreams and goals into reality by listing down crucial step-by-step tasks – leaders and influencers to associate with, trainings and events to attend, books to read, prospects to meet, etc. Getting started does not mean you have to rush things. Do it one step at a time so you don’t feel overwhelmed and pressured. The more you feel stress-free, the more you will be able perform at your best.

The next very important thing that you should do is to take action! You have to bear in mind that nothing good in life comes easy; you have to work HARD every day. Never ever give up when you come face-to-face with objections and rejections. Challenges are there so we can learn and become better. Do not focus your mind on the things you still have to accomplish; instead, pay attention to the things you have achieved so far and keep moving forward until you make it. Repetition is key!
